Police Motorcycle Crashes Tuesday in Oregon City

"(OREGON CITY) - An Oregon State Police (OSP) motor officer received minor injuries Tuesday morning while responding to a traffic crash. OSP Spokesman Greg Hastings says it happened when a pickup turned in front of the motorcycle. "At the time of the crash, the OSP motorcycle had emergency lights and siren activated."
Around 6:50 AM Tuesday, OSP Trooper Jason Lindland was operating an OSP 2004 BMW motorcycle northbound on Highway 99E in Oregon City responding to a reported traffic crash on Interstate 205.
"With emergency lights and siren activated, Trooper Lindland was in the left northbound lane approaching the intersection with 11th Street when a southbound 1986 Toyota pickup turned left towards 11th Street in front of Trooper Lindland."
