Pennsylvania Attorney Marion Munley Chosen to Serve on AAJ Board of Governors

SCRANTON, PA – October 9, 2014 – Marion Munley, a partner in the Pennsylvania personal injury law firm of Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys, was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Munley was elected during the organization’s recent national convention in Baltimore, Maryland.

Munley represents individuals and their families in complex personal injury litigation, including interstate truck accidents and medical malpractice in both state and federal courts.

Munley is a board-certified civil litigator by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has earned an AV Preeminent 4.9/5.0 Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating. She has been an active member of AAJ for many years, where she currently serves as the Special Project Director of the Trucking Litigation Group (TLG). She also serves as Second Vice President of AAJ’s Women Trial Lawyers Caucus and is a board member of the Bus Litigation Group.

She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where she serves on the Board of Governors, is a member of the Executive Committee, the Legislative Policy Committee and has served as Chair of the Women Trial Lawyers Committee and District Whip.

Munley is the winner of the “Woman of Excellence Award,” as selected by the Scranton Chamber of Commerce She has been named one of the “Top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania” and has also been named “Best Lawyer in America” and “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer,” as selected by a group of her peers.
