On Thursday, December 3, Attorney Dan Munley, partner at Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys, spoke at the “Hell on the Highways” seminar hosted by the Florida Justice Association in St. Augustine, Florida. Mr. Munley’s presentation focused on highway crash investigation and the preservation of evidence.
“Hell on the Highways” aimed to help lawyers better serve victims of major highway crashes, especially those involving tractor trailers and large trucks. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from the industry’s top experts, and to share what they have learned from experience. In addition to the speakers’ presentations, the program included a hands-on inspection of a real tractor trailer, allowing participants to climb into the driver’s seat of a semi-truck and see first-hand what accident-reconstruction experts look for.
Attorney Munley has 19 years of experience handling cases involving major highway crashes, with a special focus in tractor trailer accident litigation, and frequently travels around the country to speak on trucking issues. Munley is a past chairperson of the American Association for Justice Trucking Litigation Group, and currently serves on its executive board. He has been named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Pennsylvania by the National Trial Lawyers, and has been listed among the Best Lawyers in America.
Earlier this year, Munley reached a settlement on behalf of the victim of a tractor trailer accident that was recognized in the National Law Journal at the second-highest settlement in Pennsylvania, and the 25th highest in the country.
