Atty. Robert Munley Presents at Penn State University
Scranton, PA - March 24, 2008 - Attorney Robert W. Munley III, presented "Issues in Workers Compensation" to an assembly of students at Penn State University.
The purpose of the speech was to educate human resources and pre-law students about Pennsylvania's workers compensation legal system and how it functions for those injured on the job. Atty. Munley gave the students insight into what to expect when filing a workers compensation claim, and explained how these claims are processed. He also discussed the different types of benefits offered through the program and how the injured transition back into the workplace.
Once the floor was open for discussion, students eagerly took the opportunity ask their own questions. Atty. Munley was pleased with the turnout and overwhelming response to the information.
"Many of these students will be handling workers compensation cases as attorneys or will be filing these types of claims as human resources personnel. It is important that they become familiar with the laws governing Pennsylvania's workers compensation program in order to be prepared to handle it in their respective workplaces," added Atty. Munley
