Officials Name Munley to the LHVA Board

Scranton, PA - February 13, 2008- Lackawanna County Commissioners Michael Washo, Corey O'Brien and A.J. Munchak have appointed Attorney Julia K. Munley to the Board of Directors of the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority.

The LHVA, which encompasses the Lackawanna River watershed in Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wayne and Luzerne counties; is a partnership of government, business, civic organizations and individuals dedicated to the development of the region's historic, cultural, economic and natural resources through preservation, education and promotion of heritage. The Board of Directors oversees LHVA operations, budget and community outreach.

Ms. Munley is a trial attorney with Munley, Munley & Cartwright, a leading law firm representing victims and consumers in personal injury litigation. She is a native of the Lackawanna watershed region, and is active in various legal and community-based organizations.
