Marion Munley: Only Female Attorney In America Certified By AITLA

Scranton, Pennsylvania – February 2, 2009 – Attorney Marion C. Munley was recently certified by the Association of Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. AITLA is a national association of committed lawyers joined together to help eliminate unsafe and illegal trucking practices.

The only female attorney in America to have received AITLA certification, Marion stated “My personal commitment is to insure that America’s highways are as safe as possible for the families who travel on them. Receiving this certification is a point of professional pride to me.”

Certification is a rigorous process designed to insure that lawyers are highly skilled in the area of interstate trucking litigation. A commitment to continuing education, as well as active participation in legislative and litigation efforts aimed at reducing the unsafe practices of the trucking industry must be demonstrated prior to receiving the AITLA certification. Association membership is open only to ethical plaintiff’s lawyers who pledge to work toward the elimination of unsafe trucking practices.
