$2 Million Settlement from Foreign Medical Device Manufacturer.
Munley, Munley & Cartwright, P.C., Plains, has announced the resolution of a civil action which a client of the firm brought against a major foreign medical device manufacturer. The claim resulted in protracted, complex litigation, and ended on a settlement pursuant to the terms of which the patient received a cash settlement of $2,000,000.
Attorney Matthew A. Cartwright, who handled the litigation, declined to identify the parties to the litigation, pursuant to a confidentiality provision in the settlement agreement.
