Attorney Daniel W. Munley Featured At Atla Seminar
ATTORNEY DANIEL W. MUNLEY FEATURED AT ATLA SEMINAR
Scranton, Pennsylvania- October 30, 2006 - Attorney Daniel W. Munley was recently a featured speaker at the American Trial Lawyers Association's seminar, Litigating Truck Accidents- From Discovery to Trial, in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the third time he has been chosen to address this prestigious group.
The purpose of the seminar was to educate representatives of injured victims on the strategies and tactics utilized in commercial motor vehicle cases. Attorney Munley was one of a diverse, national group of presenters delving into the developments in tractor-trailer litigation and trial skills. The event was featured in professional journals and magazines including TRIAL Magazine.
Munley has developed a national reputation as a tractor-trailer accident litigator. His presentation, entitled "Cross Examination of the Defense Experts," stressed the importance of proper preparation techniques for successful cross-examination of expert witnesses to over 150 ATLA members from across the country. This summer, he was chosen to lecture on "Discovery in a Tractor-Trailer Case," at the trial lawyers annual convention in Seattle, Washington.
Attorney Munley is partner in Munley, Munley & Cartwright, P.C., a leading law firm representing victims and consumers in personal injury litigation. He has over ten years of litigation experience, including tractor-trailer cases, and is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He currently serves on the Executive Board of ATLA's Interstate Trucking Litigation Group and manages the group's document library.
In 2005, Mr. Munley was one of only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania lawyers recognized as a "Rising Star Superlawyer" by Philadelphia Magazine. He received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, and was named a certified Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
