Motorcycle Hits Car That Pulls Out In Front Of It

"State police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Albany Township, between Bethel and Waterford. The motorcycle hit a car that had pulled out in front of it.

It happened shortly before 10:00 A.M. on Route 5. 24-year-old Christopher Toothaker of South Paris was taken to Bridgton Hospital, but did not survive.

The driver of the car, 32-year-old Kathleen O'Brien of Raymond was not injured. Police are still investigating the crash and will not say if any charges are expected.

This was the 21st motorcycle fatality in Maine this year."
