Bikers Collide

"MIDDLETOWN - A motorcyclist and a bicyclist collided, sending both men to the hospital on Wednesday night.

At approximately 11:03 p.m., Michael Pasquale, 27, of 866 Congdon Street, was traveling westbound on Washington Street on his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle.

At the same time, Wesleyan student Chris Campizi, 21, of 200 High Street, was traveling north on his bicycle on High Street.

The bicycle traveled into the path of the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to make contact with the right side of the bicycle.

Both riders were thrown from their vehicles.

LIFESTAR took Campizi to Hartford Hospital and Pasquale was taken by ambulance to Middlesex Hospital.

LIFESTAR later took Pasquale to Hartford Hospital.

Both men suffered serious injuries and are in serious condition at Hartford Hospital.

Officer Glenn Morron is investigating the accident.
