Attorney Marion K. Munley represents individuals and their families in complex personal injury litigation. A trial lawyer for over 24 years, Marion Munley is known not only for her trial skills but also for her professional commitment and compassion for her clients. She has successfully represented clients in both the State and Federal courts, obtaining multi-million dollar recoveries.
In 2006, Marion was named by Lawdragon as one of the 500 leading plaintiffs' lawyers in the United States. In 2007, she was named by Lawdragon as one of the 2,500 leading attorneys in all practice areas of the United States.
She has been Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1996. She was re-certified in 2001 and again in 2006. Marion was the second woman in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to be named a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate.
Marion was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2006. ABOTA is a national organization dedicated to the preservation of the jury trial. Membership is by nomination and election only. Members must display civility, integrity and have completed a minimum of at least twenty (20) trials to jury verdict.
She has been selected annually as a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine since 2004, a distinction limited to only 5% of the legal community in Pennsylvania. Marion is also rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review. She was named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Pennsylvania by the American Trial Lawyers Association in 2007, 2008, and 2009. She also has the distinction of being named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Pennsylvania by the American Trial Lawyers Association for the years 2007, 2008, and 2009.
In 2008, Marion was selected as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, which is by invitation only via the Trial Lawyer Honorary Society, and represents less than ½ of 1% of American lawyers. LCA fellows are deemed to be among the best trial lawyers in the American Bar who have exhibited accomplishments in litigation and trial work, as well as superior ethical reputations.
Attorney Matthew A. Cartwright represents individuals and their families in complex personal injury litigation including interstate truck accidents and medical malpractice. He also represents clients in matters related to business disputes including breaches of contract, misrepresentation, fraud, securities violations and unfair business practices.
As a lawyer representing plaintiffs, Matthew Cartwright has more published court decisions than any other lawyer practicing in northeastern Pennsylvania. He has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 650 trial attorneys and is one of the firm’s six Super Lawyers. Matthew combines an extraordinary skill set of academic and legal research credentials with polished courtroom and media presentation expertise in representing clients.
A Law Review graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College, Matthew holds admissions to the state courts of Pennsylvania and New York as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
He also holds the following Fellowships and Certifications: Board Certified (Civil), National Board of Trial Advocacy; Fellow, National College of Advocacy; Diplomate, National College of Advocacy; Fellow, International Society of Barristers, and is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review.
Matthew also serves as the firm’s lead Legal Analyst for “The Law & You”, aired nightly during WBRE/NBC TV’s evening newscast where he fields a wide array of viewer questions in every legal category imaginable.
Attorney J. Christopher Munley heads the firm’s expansive Pre-Litigation Department, making sure that all cases flow smoothly through the legal process. Christopher Munley is a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review “AV” rated attorney and is known for his legal acumen and energetic client representation. In addition, he has an uncanny skill with respect to the collection and preservation of evidence in civil cases.
Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (2004), he holds admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and the Oklahoma Bar Associations as well as the US Middle District Court. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Chris is the founding member of the national legal marketing group, ATLAS, and is very active in the Northeastern Pennsylvania community through his engagement in many civic and volunteer efforts.
Attorney Daniel Webster Munley concentrates his practice in personal injury cases and has earned a national reputation as a preeminent practitioner in tractor trailer accident litigation.
A charter member and current Executive Board member of American Trial Lawyers’ Association (ATLA) Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, he has been a featured national speaker for ATLA in venues including Las Vegas, Seattle and Tennessee. At one of ATLA’s national conventions his presentation, “A Discovery in a Tractor Trailer Case”, Daniel Munley addressed over 200 lawyers from across the country who benefited from his thorough presentation detailing how to properly investigate and collect all necessary evidence prior to litigating a case.
Daniel’s scholarship continues in the field of professional development as witnessed through his contributions to the ABA publication “Truck Accident Litigation”, 2nd Edition, published in 2006. He is the author of numerous professional commentaries, among them: “Why a Truck Collision Case Must Be Handled Differently Than an Auto Collision Case” presented at AAJ, Toronto, ON, Canada, July 2005; “Discovery in a Tractor-Trailer Case” presented at AAJ, Seattle, WA, July 2006; “Cross-Examining Defense Experts” presented at AAJ, Las Vegas, NV October 2006; “Early Discovery in Interstate Trucking Litigation Cases” presented at Nashville, TN. and Lexington, KY; “Spoliation of the Log Books - How Trucking Companies Try to Hide the Truth” presented at Atlanta, GA and “The Big Truck Case” presented in St. Louis, MO.
Daniel is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review and is also a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. He is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and was named a Certified Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2004.
A graduate of Ultimate Trial Advocacy at Harvard Law School, he currently holds bar admissions in Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Daniel is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, as well as being certified by the Association of Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America.

Robert Munley is recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers for Pennsylvania by the American Trials Lawyers Association. He is highly respected within the legal community for his extraordinary trial preparation and command inside the courtroom when representing his clients.

Attorney Julia K. Munley, AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, holds admission to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Known for her relentless pre-trial preparation and attention to detail, Julia Munley passionately represents individuals and their families in complex personal injury litigation including interstate truck accidents, auto accidents and workers’ compensation.
Julia is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, the US Middle District Court and the US Court of Appeals before the Third Circuit as well as holds membership in the Federal Bar Association. Attorney Caroline Munley is the recipient of Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law- Barrister Award for Achievement in the field of Trial Advocacy and is rated as a “Rising Star Super Lawer” by Pennsylvania Magazine. Caroline Munley holds memberships in the Pennsylvania and Lackawanna Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice as well as the American Association for Justice.
Serving as the firm’s Managing Partner, Caroline is also heavily involved in truck and auto litigation as well as workers’ compensation cases. As a framework for successful litigation, Caroline combines an extensive knowledge of the law with compassionate and communicative interaction with her clients.
