Most workers aren’t aware how little electricity it takes to cause an electrocution or disabling shock. According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the electrical current drawn from a 7.5 watt, 120-volt lamp passed from hand to hand or hand to foot across the chest is enough to cause electrocution.
