Cartwright Joins International Society of Barristers

Scranton, PA - April 8, 2008 - Munley, Munley & Cartwright is proud to announce the induction of partner Matthew A. Cartwright into the International Society of Barristers.

The Barristers is an honor society of outstanding trial lawyers chosen by their peers on the basis of excellence, integrity, ethics and professionalism in advocacy. Membership is in this prestigious organization is extremely limited, and is offered by invite only. Currently, there are only 25 Fellows from the state of Pennsylvania, and only three from the Northeastern part of the state.

The Society's Board of Governors meticulously reviews each potential member to ensure that they demonstrate the highest commitment to ethical standards and civility in both their professional and personal lives.

The Society seeks to preserve trial by jury, the adversary system and independence of the judiciary. It boasts members from across the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Australia, Canada, England, Scotland and Mexico.
