Matthew A. Cartwright is a partner at Munley, Munley and Cartwright, a firm specializing in representation of victims and consumers in personal litigation with seven offices located throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.

Attorney Cartwright represents individuals and their families in complex personal injury litigation including interstate truck accidents and medical malpractice. He also represents clients in matters related to business disputes including breaches of contract, misrepresentation, fraud, securities violations and unfair business practices.

As a lawyer representing plaintiffs, Cartwright has more published court decisions than any other lawyer practicing in northeastern Pennsylvania.

A Law Review graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College, Matt holds admissions to the state courts of Pennsylvania and New York as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and United States
Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Matt also has the distinction of serving as a Legal Analyst for “The Law & You”, aired nightly during WBRE/NBC TV’s evening newscast where he fields a wide array of viewer questions in every legal category imaginable.

He also has been a member of the “Brain Trust” for The Small Business Advocate (on-line radio presentation) for over nearly a decade where he has addressed issues such as unfair provisions in business contracts, predatory lending practices, and auditing malpractice.
