Dan Munley in St Louis for Presentation


Dan Munley, a partner in Munley, Munley & Cartwright, will be speaking the Association of Interstate Trucking Attorneys in St. Louis, MO today. He will present Spoilage in Tractor Trailer Case.


Dan, a member of the Executive Board of the American Association for Justice’s Interstate Trucking Group, was invited to speak because of his growing reputation as a stand-out in commercial vehicle litigation.


He will also present Discovery in a Tractor Trailer Case to the Kentucky Justice Association next month.


Dan is a Civil Trial Specialist, certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates; he is also an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. He has been recognized as a Million Dollar Advocate, a Pennsylvania Rising Star Super Lawyer and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

Munley’s practice is concentrated upon personal injury cases with a special focus on tractor trailer litigation. He has successfully litigated commercial motor vehicle cases for more than a decade, and is a frequent speaker on tractor trailer litigation.


Dan is also a contributing author of Truck Accident Litigation 2nd Edition, published by the American Bar Association.

Matt Cartwright To Instruct Seminar


This afternoon, Matt will be instructing Document Retention and Destruction, a Lorman Education Services seminar. Matt is the second MMC attonery to teach a seminar this week!


Matt was chosen to teach at the conference because of his unique skill set and knowledge of the ever-evolving rules governing the presveration of evidence.


Matt is a practining trail lawyer and parnter at Munley, Munley & Cartwright. He recieved his JD from the University of Pennsylvania, and has spent the past two decades growing a national reputation for his trial skills and speaking abilities.


Matt was recently named a PA Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics, Inc. and was invited into the prestigous, International Society of Barristers.

This is the second time Matt has instructed this seminar for Lorman Education Services. He has been invited to speak on numerous legal issues throughout the United States.

3 MMC Attorneys Named PA Super Lawyers



Philadelphia Magazine and Law & Politics Inc. have named three Munley, Munley and Cartwright attorneys “Pennsylvania Super Lawyers” for 2008. Robert W. Munley, Marion Munley and Matthew CaCheck Spellingrtwright were recognized for their outstanding reputation in personal injury litigation for the fifth consecutive year! Marion Munley in Philly for Seminar



Attorney Marion Munley is a featured speaker at the Lorman Education Services seminar, Trucking Litigation: Handling Various Issues Unique to Trucking in Pennsylvania today in Philadelphia.

Marion was chosen to lead the forum because of her expertise in trucking and commercial vehicle litigation. The purpose of the seminar is to educate attorneys, trucking industry officials, safety professionals and insurance representatives on the complex and changing issues surrounding catastrophic trucking cases.

Marion Munley is a partner here at Munley, Munley & Cartwright. She is a graduate of Temple University School of Law, and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New York. Munley is a Civil Trial Specialist, certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates, and is a named Diplomate of the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is an active member of the American Association for Justice and serves on the Board of Governors for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

She has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, she is listed as one of the country’s top 500 Leading Plaintiffs Lawyers by Lawdragon Magazine and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Marion Munley at Gerry Spence Trail Lawyers College


Marion Munley will be spending the rest of the week in the great state of Wyoming. She, along with the rest of the teaching staff at Gerry Spence Trail Lawyers College, will be meeting with the one and only, Gerry Spence and his team, to learn his freshest techniques, in order to educate and inspire incoming classes of trial attorneys.

Marion is an alumni of TLC. After graduation, she was invited onto the teaching staff and has taught nearly a dozen seminars at Spence’s Wyoming ranch and across the country. TLC is truly something else; it molds everyday trail lawyers into warriors of justice, and enables its students to more successfully try cases on behalf of ordinary people- not insurance companies, banks, or big business.

The Gerry Spence Trail Lawyers College was founded as a not-for-profit institution dedicated to the preservation of justice and the protection of the jury-trial system through the education of legal professionals.

Matt Joins International Society of Barristers


All of us at Munley, Munley & Cartwright are proud to announce the induction of Matt Cartwright into the International Society of Barristers.

This is quite the honor as membership is in this prestigious organization is extremely limited, and is offered by invite only. Currently, there are only 25 Fellows from the state of Pennsylvania, and only three from the Northeastern part of the state.

The Barristers is an honor society of outstanding trial lawyers chosen by their peers on the basis of excellence, integrity, ethics and professionalism in advocacy. It boasts members from across the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Australia, Canada, England, Scotland and Mexico. Congrats, Matt!

Marion Teaching at Lawyers College


Atty. Marion Munley is in Briarcliff, NY today, where she will be teaching at Opening Statement, a regional seminar of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. Marion is a graduate of TLC, and she is also an esteemed member of the College’s teaching staff.

Founded by world-renowned trail lawyer, Gerry Spence, the Trial Lawyers College was founded as a not-for-profit institution dedicated to the preservation of justice and the protection of the jury-trial system through the education of legal professionals. The school is known for its intensive training styles. TLC students gain the skills necessary to try cases on behalf of ordinary people- not insurance companies, banks, or big business. Opening Statement is the eighth course Marion has taught for the College.
