STATUTE: State of Rhode Island General Laws, Title 23, Chapter 34.1, Short titled: Amusement Ride Safety Act.
PERMITS AND LICENSES: Annual registration requirements for each ride (permanent and temporary rides included) are: 1) passing annual inspection by independent professional engineer, 2) payment of $50 annual fee, and 3) financial responsibility of owner in the amount of one million/OCC.
INSPECTION: Annual inspection by independent professional engineer as condition to register the ride annually, and 2) inspection by the State Inspector for temporary amusement devices after each set-up
